well APPARENTLY we have a second photo story to do - first one i didnt have enough time to do what i wanted and did the Ballarat one so for the second one i will do about stalking - hopefully someone will have a cop's hat for that one sooooo yea
hopefully i will be more organised and get this done and over with :)

My photograph story so far

Well right now I'm in the process of editing my photographs - I took a whole heap of them at different angles so they will take a little while; they'll be up by tonight or tomorrow morning

I could'nt think of anything to do for my photograph story and as i was passing through Ballarat to visit my pop; it hit me; I could capture the images of the real Ballarat! Since I have a passion for History I found it a perfect idea to take photos of the historical buildings of Ballarat

I had no camera and no phone to take the pictures (stupid me) but I ended up using my nan's phone to take these photos which came out pretty good compared to what I thought they would...
    ... I had my nan drive me around different areas of Ballarat to capture images of old buildings that were between 100 and 150 years old.

Even though I grew up in the area I didnt know it too well so my nan and I basically drove anywhere we could to places that had historical buildings and such...

The Remote Chase

1.   INT. DOWNSTAIRS  LOUNGE/STAIRCASE. DAY.

The scene is in colour; two characters are sitting on a couch in a lounge-room and are watching television. There is an upbeat piano music in the background for the Silent Film effect that lets us know there will be a chase coming. Character number one is Jasmine and Character number two is Abbey. Jasmine is on the left of the couch and Abbey is on the right. Abbey starts off with the remote and Jasmine snatches it from her grip, then the remote is snatched back and forth multiple times and abbey is the last to snatch it.

The scene pauses and turns to black and white on the two characters where the title ‘The Remote Chase’ appears. This is on the screen for five to ten seconds.

The scene un-pauses and Jasmine snatches up the remote and gets off the couch running away from her competitor on their left. Abbey gets up and follows Jasmine in the chase.

Jasmine is running from the lounge-room down a hall and passing the kitchen along her way with Abbey close behind her. After passing the kitchen Jasmine and Abbey turn a corner and begin racing up the stair case to the upstairs area.

2.   INT. STAIRCASE/UPSTAIRS HALL. DAY.

Jasmine and Abbey are running up the stairs, Jasmine is in front of Abbey still. The girls turn left at the staircase Abbey is chasing Jasmine down the hall and into a room where they both enter.

The doors have a Scooby Doo effect where they enter one door and exit another.

After entering into the room together, Abbey and Jasmine exit different doors close by together and bump into one another. The girls land on the floor and the remote is in no one’s control, Abbey looks at Jasmine and takes the remote and runs of down the hall which Jasmine chasing her.

3.   INT. UPSTAIRS HALL/UPSTAIRS LOUNGE. DAY.

Jasmine is chasing Abbey down the second set of the hall into the upstairs lounge where there sits circular foot rest in the centre of the room. Abbey enters the room first and runs in circles around the foot rest a few times with Jasmine following. Abbey then stands on the foot rest and covers her eyes, Jasmine still continues to chase around the foot rest not noticing Abbey in the centre. Abbey comes to realisation that Jasmine has not noticed and runs off to the closest door

Abbey has run into the door where Jasmine begins to chase after her. The door shuts. Jasmine is now followed by Abbey, they are exiting the door down the hall; it is seen that the other door is down the hall. They run down the first part of the hall where they run behind a cornered wall.

After disappearing behind the wall, the girls reappear from behind the camera in the upstairs lounge. They run past the camera and down the seconds part of the hall, Jasmine is in front of the chase. They run down the second part of the hall, turn a corner, run down the first part of the hall and behind the cornered wall where they have again disappeared.

With Abbey in front, the girls are running the same way they came from, down the first part of the hall, around the corner and back down the second part of the hall where they run past and behind the camera.

Abbey reappears first by herself and runs into the door that is right next to the upstairs lounge, she shuts the door behind her.

Jasmine then appears and looks confused because she doesn’t know where Abbey is. She makes an assumption, goes down the second part of the hall and enters the door.

4.   INT. DOWNSTAIRS LOUNGE. DAY.

After entering a door upstairs, Jasmine has exited a door near the kitchen, part of the downstairs lounge. She looks around and can see that she is not where she is supposed to be and goes through the door she entered through and exits.

5.   INT. UPSTAIRS LOUNGE/UPSTAIRS HALL. DAY

Abbey exits the door she had entered and can see that Jasmine is nowhere to be seen and does a cheeky grin.

6.   INT. STAIRCASE. DAY

Jasmine now has the remote and is running down the stairs with Abbey close behind her. Jasmine is stopped by Abbey at the foot of the stairs and turns around with Abbey a couple of steps higher than her. When the girls have stopped, the music stops and the colour has returned to the screen.

ABBEY

Why don’t we just play X-Box?

JASMINE

But we only have one controller though.

ABBEY

SHOT-GUN!

The music has returned and so is the black and white effect because the chase is back on.

Abbey is in front and bolts up the stairs with Jasmine close behind her.

Credits have appeared on the screen with television look to it. The credits will mention the director, writer, creator, who was involved in the film and ‘Occupied Productions’.

THE END!

Film...

I am doing a 'Silent Film' themed film for this terms assessment. It will have two characters involved in a chase.

I have almost finished, having done the animations of jess, caitlin, abbey, jasmine and renee, i am hoping to finish off Karisa's and Aila's in time. If not then they will have to do without.
Besides that i only have to add in the transition between photos and the music to suit it :)

Im thinking of putting this in my animation, seeing as ive edited it to make it look sketch and everything...

Step 2 - Animation/storyline checklist

With each scene, it will start with a photo of a friend(s), with that it will fade into a sketch version of that photo and become an animation where it will move as a cartoon sketch, but the cartoon sketch will be altered not to just look like the photo that was just shown, things will move around so that it form into another photo that will appear.
When i say "altered" i mean a sketch wont just turn into a sketch, i will add extras to make the sketch move and have things evolve into it such as butterflies, hearts, sparks, or maybe things that best represents my friends such as music, so something like guitars or floating music notes, rock bands or a stage and a rough blurry crowd, an ipod, and such things like an alien, a spaceship with a picture of my friend in it, floating/zooming off into space, For the alterations at the very very end of the movie i will have floating objects like music notes, peace sign, space ship, no smoking sign with a cow in the middle, things floating around the page, each one representing a friend of mine.
For the music in the background of my animation, i haven't made a complete decision but it is a debate between 3 songs, Corbin Bleu - Moments that Matter, A Day To Remember - Second Glance and Pink - Perfect.
At the very beginning before any pictures/sketches are shown, i will have an introduction of why i made the movie, so I will write, "Dedicated to the reasons my life feels so complete". At the very end, I will have credits saying, "Created by Tahlia Sweet", the letters forming in the centre, a few seconds later the entire sentence will float upwards like normal credits. And then I will have "To those who make my life feels so complete", letters coming from all directions and floating, making its way to the centre and forms the words. And surrounding that will be the names the movie is dedicated to going around in a clockwise way, when that is finished the names will leave the page and the sentence in the centre will flaot upwards.

The animation will involve many of my friends and my nana.
The people are, Abbey, Aila, Jasmine, Renee, Karisa, Melissa, Nan, Brooke, Caitlin, Jess and some possible others may be involved in the animation if i have the time. (Hopefuly I will)

Step 1 - Introduction

For my animation i am doing a mixture of different styled animations involving rotoscoping and stop-motion. I am doing this because it seems a little bit challenging to me, i like the idea of having to animate and draw the faces of the ones i care most about, then making a montage about them. I was influenced by the 2 linked TV shows "16 and pregnant" and "Teen Mom"to do this styled animation.  But what really pushed me to do this was when i watched the human skateboard movie clip where many multiple photos aer taken with milliseconds of each other and are put together to make the illusion that those photos look like they are moving like a film, the music video of the sketches, very detailed sketches which move along like a cartoon, so watching those two movies pushed me to think about the picture taking and sketching combined, so now thats what i have in mind. So pretty much, my animation will begin as a sketch, fade into a realistic photo, a few photos will appear as the illusion that it is moving, fade back into sketch on the last picture, have  a little fun with the sketch animation, and will continue on with the next range of photos. animation because i wanted to make this a little tribute to all the people i love and all they've done for me, so this is dedicated to them. I didn't want to do any other animation because i don't have a can take a thousand photos in a matter of minutes, i didn't want sticky notes because it was ore time consuming and i didn't want to waste paper plus, if i was to make one tiny mistake, it could ruin my entire animation, so i stuck with what i like, wanting to draw and detail faces of those i care about as a sketch animation with some photos of them to show the good times we share.
